TINHINANE ZERAOUI تينعينان زراوي
Born in 1998 in Aïn Taya, Tinhinane is currently completing her studies at Villa Arson. Through various mediums such as tufting, writing, and installation, she creates interactive spaces that encourage dialogue and reflection on acculturation and its lingering effects. She is also interested in the resistances of marginalized bodies, particularly racialized individuals, in a postcolonial and contemporary context. By repurposing everyday objects, she reveals areas of friction, questioning power dynamics and the traces of colonialism in our current realities. She uses shifts in symbols and forms to interrogate these dynamics.
